Agile and Scrum Foundations Workshop
Self-organizing teams are the cornerstone of Agile. The Agile and Scrum Foundations training workshop provides team members, from developers to test engineers, a solid knowledge of the core concepts of Agile, Scrum and Lean so they can own new processes and recognize opportunities for improvement. Through hands-on group exercises, participants will experience what it means to be agile while gaining an appreciation for key techniques and how they apply to software development.
Through a combination of immersive team-based learning, exercises, and real-world case studies, participants will:
- Be able to explain to others the “what” and “why” of Agile
- Describe Scrum Ceremonies, Roles, and Artifacts
- Manage requirements in an Agile way
- Estimate project features in a more effective way
- Organize Sprints (Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, and Retrospectives)
- Focus on optimizing for the whole and limiting work in progress
Why Agile Velocity?
Our workshops are not a roster call; participants earn their learning outcomes. We believe the only way to absorb and retain information is to teach in a highly-engaged manner using auditory, visual, tactile, and kinetic learning, and we’ve seen a lot of success.
